Low Answer Rates and Few Call-backs

While Peachy Insurance (f.k.a. Marilyn Todd Insurance) is one of the top insurance companies in the business, the insurance industry is also incredibly competitive. In order to convert leads, it is imperative to be able to speak to interested prospects within seconds of them filling out a lead form. To reach interested prospects, Marilyn Todd Insurance has a team of over 40 agents who make over 80K calls per month when prospects submit a lead form online. As soon as a new lead comes in, it is assigned to an insurance agent to quickly make a call.

However, despite their national presence and reputation, Peachy Insurance was struggling with low answer rates and few call-backs, which became more frustrating as the economy restricted. They were using an insurance-specific contact center technology platform, but it wasn’t solving the problem. Over 80% of their calls were being marked with spam flags.

That's when Regal.io stepped in and showed the company that their low answer rates were due to spam flags that were being placed on their calls by the major phone carriers. After implementing spam remediation services from Regal.io, Peachy Insurance quickly saw a dramatic lift in key performance metrics. Over 64K monthly calls that previously had been marked “spam likely” were now reaching customers. Customers answered more calls and were willing to talk more, allowing relationships to happen faster, forging the path to higher conversion. One agent experienced an increase in 15 additional callbacks per day. The company also saw a significant improvement in quote rates, talk time, call-back rates, and revenue lift.
